Borak Ethics: Ethical Nightmares

Friday, 30 October 2026 · 8:30 PM
LIVE on Zoom

No names. No judgement. Just the stories that still haunt us — and what they can teach us. This Halloween, EAC opens the case files: real, anonymously submitted ethical dilemmas from YOU, the Malaysian mental health field. We will examine what you bring us through every lens that matters — the client’s, the regulatory board’s, the therapist’s, the supervisor’s, and an ethical decision-making model to walk through how the call should have been made. We won’t stop at what went wrong. We’ll ask why it happened, what we’d do in that same room under that same pressure, and what it reveals about the very human pull toward the choices that lead us there.

Every story shared is a story someone else gets to learn from. This is a space built on psychological safety, first and always — your submission stays anonymous, no case is presented to shame anyone, and no one in that room is above having made a hard call under pressure. If you’ve got a story that still sits with you, we’d be honoured to hold it with care.

Join the Collective Partners – Jon Sern, Farah, Edward, and Sarah for this frightening yet enlightening Borak session!
